Michael will cover the differences between available fiber reinforcement products, the use of current ACI standards and design tools, and successful applications of fiber reinforced concrete in floors, walls, precast, shotcrete, and paving. The presentation will also address sustainability and how evolving industry standards are helping expand the use of fiber reinforced concrete in everyday construction.

Michael Mahoney is the Director of National Business Development and Engineering Services for Euclid Chemical Company. He is a Professional Engineer, an ACI Fellow, and past president of the Fiber Reinforced Concrete Association. He holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Nova Scotia and has extensive experience in fiber reinforcement, product development, research, and concrete technology.
