Concrete installation is a part of every project. The installation of concrete involves the construction team (project engineer, contractor, and concrete supplier) working together to achieve success. A critical component of concrete success is completed mix design approvals. With the industry's transition to 1L cement mixes, this has introduced new challenges. A group of area structural engineers will present on the keys to efficient mix design approval and how the construction team can work together to remove barriers to workflow. The presentation will include some critical factors that impact these approvals and include a Q & A portion where the audience can ask questions related to mix designs.
Who would benefit from attending? Anyone who interacts with mix design creation and use, concrete ordering, or interacts with the engineer on a project.
